Missing my network controller driver after re-installed windows 7 jump to solution hi, i hope someone can find a solution to this problem, i have to re-installed windows 7 on my dell xps 17 due to a problem with mcafee software.. No ethernet controller driver and no network adapter after windows 7 reinstall. solved re-installed windows 7 on a asus b940, missing drivers solved reinstalled windows 7 home premium 64 bit. Says ethernet controller and usb controller drivers not installed for device i have onboard sound card but xp says no audio device installed. code 10, no multi-media controller driver installed.
My friend formatted the computer and reinstalled windows 7. it has been working ok but over the weekend, i installed all the dozens of windows update that are "important" and now have no wireless. the network controller says that there is no driver installed, however, i have tried the drivers from the acer website and now don't know what to do.. To locate the right drivers, you will need to identify the computer model name and the specific operating system (windows 7 32-bit or windows 7 64-bit). if you are using an assembled computer , you can go to the motherboard’s website ( intel , asus , acer , gigabyte , etc) to download the network drivers..
