Cannot install (dualboot) any windows (8/10), during installation : "a media driver your computer need is missing. this could solved cd/dvd driver missing - windows 7 installation. Fix: windows 7 fixes load driver & missing cd/dvd drive device driver 2016 hd 1080p. The computer i am trying to install windows 7 on is an asus (mentioned above, somewhere), i have two driver discs for my computer but they are meant to be for vista and xp (its an oldish computer), if i was to load them when it prompts me to, will that solve it. the driver discs, as you can imagine, have the optical drive n the keyboard and all.
Windows install would cause some driver issues, so you can check if there is any driver problem caused after installing windows 7. go to device manager to check for the driver status. in device manager, if you see a yellow mark next to the device, the driver is having a problem.. If your installing windows to an older pc, the cd/dvd drive may not be compatible with windows 7 and windows vista, the cd/dvd drive may need to be replaced.. Windows 7 x64 "load a driver" during installation (dvd media not usb) "a required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing" message pops up right after setup starts and the computer doesn't even have a cd/dvd or hard drive storage driver available i dont understand what is causing this i have researched it and all of the solutions i have found.
